Adam's Eyes

This is a digital piece I call "Adam's Eyes." Adam passed away about a year ago, the victim of a senseless act of violence, the tragedy of which defies understanding and comprehension. He was a young man who loved life, and the love he emanated was returned by alll those who knew and loved Adam. Wise beyond his years, he was happiest when he was doing for others, and his work ethic, well, it was beyond incredible. I should know because my company employed him, and a day didn't go by that the executives of my company didn't praise his contribution and "knock on wood" in the hope that they would never lose him. Everyone at PCS misses him very much. I chose to re-create this particular photo, because it captures Adam's amazing, baby-blue eyes, which were almost mesmerizing. I'm sure the girls he knew were captivated by them. Adam's eyes weren't just blue, however; they were a window into a soul that was compassionate, loving, and completely devoted to his family and friends, who miss him very much. I didn't do his eyes justice, but if you look into them, you may just get a glimpse of this amazing human being. Rest in peace, Adam.
